Jesse Vinton
Is an award winning filmmaker and content-focused creative director, specializing in visually evocative, aspirational storytelling. With a multidisciplinary background creating commercials, branded content, music videos, narrative, and documentary films, Jesse’s passion for filmmaking is matched only by his love for adventure. As the son of the Oscar winning animation pioneer, Will Vinton, Jesse comes from a family of creative entrepreneurs.
Jesse has led creative for many of the world's most innovative brands, utilizing the power of story to drive profit and product awareness. Working both in-house at creative studios and as an independent entrepreneur, Jesse’s directed for brands like adidas, Under Armour, The North Face and Microsoft, and created music videos for artists like Seven Lions. His film Masks of Desire won the audience choice award at Holly Shorts in LA, and he co-wrote the film Waiting Game, which won the Portland 48 Hour Film Festival, Rotterdam, and was then accepted into the 2020 Cannes Short Film Corner. Recently, his feature script Spring Outbreak was selected as a qurterfinalist in Screencraft’s development competition.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Jesse is developing commercials and feature film projects. He doesn’t usually talk in 3rd person but this bio felt like the place to do it.
